Engraving & Thermography

Engraving is a print technique that creates raised images on paper (the opposite of letterpress). During the printing process, an etched plate is filled with opaque ink. When a sheet is pressed against the plate, it creates raised areas that also absorb ink. The etched plates used in engraving produce stunning line work and a high level of detail.
